Join Emily and Ryan for a 2 hour session which weaves together yoga philosophy with embodied practices of movement and breath.

This workshop is designed to offer curious students of yoga a meaningful opportunity to deepen their personal practice by exploring the rich and expansive tradition of yoga that extends far beyond the physical postures

Absolutely no experience of yoga philosophy is needed, these are themes that all of us as human beings can relate to! Through discussion, guided practices, and space for personal inquiry, we’ll discover how yoga’s ancient wisdom can be understood not just conceptually, but applied to modern life.

Each session is designed to function as a stand-alone offering, so whether you are completely new to yoga philosophy, or have more experience, this session will give the opportunity to learn and discuss together.

Ancient Wisdom, Modern World will explore yoga philosophy as laid out in The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali - one of yoga’s seminal texts. We will explore the eight limbs of yoga, beginning with the Yamas - the ethical restraints.

On 27th March we are exploring the third yama - Asteya - often translated as ‘non-stealing’.

Guided by Emily and Ryan—both dedicated practitioners and eternal students of yoga— these sessions create an environment where participants can explore, inquire, and connect with the deeper layers of yoga.

This workshop is ideal for those wanting to:

  • Deepen their yoga practice

  • Explore the connection between mind, body, and breath

  • Cultivate personal insight and transformation

No experience needed; all levels are welcome.
