Join Ryan & Emily for the first in a new series of workshops that weave together yoga philosophy with embodied practices of movement and breath. 

This series is designed to offer curious students of yoga a meaningful opportunity to deepen their personal practice by exploring the rich and expansive tradition of yoga that extends far beyond the physical postures. 

These sessions will begin by exploring the Eight Limbs of Yoga, beginning on January 16th with the first of the Yamas (moral disciplines) – Ahimsa—the foundational yogic principle of non-harming or non-violence.

Guided by Emily and Ryan—both dedicated practitioners and eternal students of yoga— this series will create an environment where participants can explore, inquire, and connect with the deeper layers of yoga. Through discussion, guided practices, and space for personal inquiry, we’ll discover how yoga’s ancient wisdom can be understood not just conceptually, but applied to modern life.

This workshop is ideal for those wanting to:

  • Deepen their yoga practice

  • Explore the connection between mind, body, and breath

  • Cultivate personal insight and transformation

No experience needed; all levels are welcome.

Desk Detox: Living Yoga in a Busy World is a monthly midweek reset for people who sit at desks, think deeply, and want yoga to support how they live, not just how they move.

This 45-minute online class blends strong-but-slow movement, simple breathwork, and practical yoga philosophy to help you step out of autopilot, gain mental clarity, and reconnect with yourself.

Expect a steady, grounding practice that leaves you feeling clearer, calmer, and better resourced for life.

🧘🏿‍♂️ Do I need to be flexible or experienced?

No. This isn’t about making perfect shapes, it’s about noticing habits — in your body, breath, and mind — and learning how to meet them with more awareness and forge a deeper connection. Variations will be offered, and of course, you're free to adjust and adapt as necessary. This is your practice, I'm simply your guide holding space for it.


🧘🏿‍♂️ What makes this different from a typical online yoga class?

This isn’t about zoning out or pushing through.

Desk Detox is designed as a monthly reset, a chance to step out of autopilot, and check in with yourself. It's not an escape from the world but a return to yourself.


🧘🏿‍♂️ What do I need?

A mat, space to lay your mat, and a willingness to show up as yourself for yourself. Props are optional.


📩 What if I can’t make it live?

No problem. A recording is sent to everyone who registers and is available for 72 hours, so you can practise at your convenience.


☕️ What’s the optional coffee chat?

A relaxed 15-minute space after class to connect, reflect, or just be human. No yoga talk required, and definitely no work chat! Stay if it feels good, leave if not.

Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or wanting to feel more confident in your practice, Start Where You Are is a four-week series designed to help you build strength, clarity, and ease as you discover the foundations of the physical practice of yoga.

Over four 60-minute classes, we’ll break down some common poses in a relaxed, welcoming space. You’ll learn how to move through key poses safely, explore simple breathwork, and start tuning into how your body likes to move.
